Uralvagonzavod’s cargo rail car output grows 20% in 2018
MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- Russia railway equipment and tank producer Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) raised its production of cargo rail cars by 20% to 18,000 in 2018, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The company produced 18,000 units of rolling stock equipment in 2018. This is a 3,000 unit increase on the year,” the company said.
“Cargo rail cars spare parts sales also rise to bring over 3 billion rubles to the company. Higher production of specialized rolling stock equipment is an important growth component in the sales of civil products.”
